Tia Wingfield is an NRA and  State of Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor.  

Code of Maryland Regulations, Title 29 – Department of State Police, Subtitle 03 - Weapons Regulations, .01 Definitions - .37 “Qualified Handgun 

Instructor” means a person who has been recognized by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions; or possess a valid instructor 

certification issued by a nationally recognized firearms organization. Regulation .37 of this chapter, certifies a person’s ability to instruct Handgun 

Qualification License applicants and Handgun Wear and Carry Permit applicants.
