REGISTRATION

Registration:

CCH requires every student attending a class to be registered online. Payment must be made (debit/credit, Paypal) at the time of registration to secure your seat .

Materials:All students are required to present a valid MD Driver’s License or MD State Issued ID upon checking in to class.

CCH will provide hearing and eye protection.

Cancellations/Refunds:All transactions are FINAL. Cancellations of registration will NOT be accepted. NO refunds will be issued. You may transfer or reschedule your class within 48 hours notice only once. If you do not reschedule within 48hrs of original class or do not attend rescheduled class your fee may be forfeited. You have up to 6 months to attend a recheduled class. If for any reason class is canceled or rescheduled upon my request , you will receive a refund or a class credit upon your request.

If classes are rescheduled due to severe inclimate weather, students will be permitted to select available class. However if class is not rescheduled in inclimate weather and student wishes to reschedule , it will count as your only permitted reschedule.

Late Admission:

Due to the topics covered in our classes, we do not allow late admission. Students who do not arrive to their registered class on time may be turned away. We encourage all students to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to check-in.

Charm City Heat limits our class sizes to provide a high-quality training experience for each of our students. In order to provide our services, we must commit resources, assign instructors, arrange classroom/range availability, and incur other costs associated with the class.

Your registration fee payment reserves your place in our training schedule and may be credited to a future training if you must cancel or change your training.

All training requires a Non-Refundable pre-payment to reserve your seat in a class.

We encourage you to notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your slot to another student.

We train rain or shine, hot or cold, so bad weather is not a valid emergency.

Should CCH have to reschedule a class or training due to facilities scheduling or other reasons, we will credit each student account and reschedule their class to the next available session.

What You Should Know Before Your Class

1. Be sure to complete the CCH RELEASE WAIVER LIABILITY INDEMNITY AGREEMENT when you register for the class.

2. Driver's license. Notepad, pens and pencils.

3. Eye protection, over-head earmuff style ear protection. (we may have some eye-protection (when available) for sale if you need it, let us know. I also will have ear protection that you may use for training. The range also has them for sale.

4. Closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops), long pants. High or crew neck shirts are required. No lowcut shirts.

5. If you are bringing your own firearm, firearms must be unloaded in a closed case for the range exercises. (A firearm and ammunition can be made available for you, be sure to let us know. Fees will be applied.) All ammunition must be in factory boxes, not loaded into any gun or magazines. Any gun deemed unsafe by the instructor will not be allowed.

6. EACH STUDENT MUST PAY A $149 ( FOR TRAINING, RANGE USE FEE, FIREARM RENTAL, TARGET and AMMUNITION).

*The $125 introductory cost will end on 11/14/2020.

7. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Here are some basic safe gun handling guidelines. We will provide VERY COMPLETE AND DETAILED safety information as part of any training. By registering for our training, all students agree to follow all safety rules and instructions without exception.

-Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. Never point a gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.

- Always keep finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have decided to shoot that target.

- Know your target, backstop and areas all around a shooting activity.

- Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Always be sure of the load condition of any firearm you handle.

- Use proper safety equipment (ear/eye protection).

- No ammunition is EVER allowed in a classroom. Upon instructor’s request, or for range training only exercises, bring unloaded gun in a closed case from your locked vehicle to the range. Do not remove or handle gun until instructed to do so. Keep ammo packaged separately from your gun case.

- Each class will have additional safety rules specific to the facility and the level of firearms training being conducted. In order to maintain a safe learning environment for all students, the rules will be strictly enforced, including removal of non-compliant students from the firing line or the facility itself. The instructor has the right and responsibility to remove any student that behaves in a manner that is determined to be unsafe, or a distraction to the other students.
